This excellent miso strainer can perform three functions in one: scooping, measuring, and straining.
The spoon’s shape makes it easy to scoop even the corners of the miso container. One spoonful is equivalent to one tablespoon, which is enough for one serving of miso soup (two spoonfuls are equivalent to two tablespoons, or two servings). You can then close the spoon and strain the miso directly into the pot. Since you don’t need measuring spoons, ladles, chopsticks, or a miso strainer, there’s less washing up.
