• This device measures blood pressure by wrapping an adjustable cuff around the upper arm and regulating the air pressure inside the cuff. The set consists of a cuff, inflation bulb, pressure control valve, and an aneroid manometer.

• After inflating the cuff on the upper arm, the pressure is gradually released. Using a stethoscope, Korotkoff sounds are monitored: the pressure when the sound first appears is recorded as the systolic (highest) pressure, and the pressure when the sound disappears is recorded as the diastolic (lowest) pressure, allowing non-invasive blood pressure measurement.
